"With the generous consent of Anthony d'Offay in London, who owns the copyright to Ron Mueck’s "Big Man" now on display on the Hirshhorn Gallery in Washington, DC, I have created a montage called "Speechless." There is much information on line about the artistic genius of Australian born sculptor Ron Mueck.

“Big Man,” a 7’ naked sculpture displayed in the backroom corner of the Hirshhorn, has become one of the most popular exhibits at the Hirshhorn since its acquisition. Please go see “Big Man” in person, when and if you have the chance.

The Hirshhorn Gallery is intimate in size and is predictably sophisticated in its exhibition of fine works from around the world, It is impossible to describe the unexpected visceral reaction I had at first coming around the corner and seeing Mueck’s extraordinary sculpture.
