The Unique Yankee B&B at Christmas Cove, Maine.

One Christmas Eve in the early 1600s, explorer Captain John Smith anchored in Christmas Cove. The name stuck and Christmas Cove has been a snug home port for cruising yachts and watercraft ever since.

Our hilltop dwelling boasts a Top of the World view out to the open ocean (gulf of Maine). There is no traffic noise to compete with the music of the sea. What you’ll hear is the distant thunder of surf crashing into the rocky coast of the Thread of Life Channel which separates Shipley Point from the Outer Channel Islands. What you will see is a spectacular, mesmerizing view of the open ocean pierced by the Pemaquid Peninsula. What you will experience is serenity.
