Maine is also the "yard sale, barn sale, tag sale, and flea market capital of our world." When you visit the Unique Yankee B&B we will point out some examples of extraordinarily valuable "treasures" we have acquired for next to nothing at Maine's "yard sales" over the years. One vase (signed "Lalique") we acquired for next to nothing sold for over $4,000.00 at the Skinner auction in Boston. Treasure hunting in Maine is a great, exciting adventure in "our" world here on the coast of Maine.
